OakLeaf’s Second Annual National Night Out – Tuesday, August 4th,
6pm-9pm
Join us at the OakLeaf Village Amenity Center for free pizza, drinks and ice
cream. Meet representatives from the Sheriff’s Office, get some treats for the
kids, learn about the Neighborhood Watch Programs, have your children
fingerprinted and get involved in making your community a better place to be.
In conjunction with NNO, OakLeaf is sponsoring its first blood drive from 5-
9pm. Please come out and donate. Make your appointment online at

Out of the Pool and Back to School Party – Saturday, August 22nd,
2pm-4pm, OakLeaf Village and Plantation Oaks Pools
Come have fun before you go back to school. Get a jump start on your school

A Bedtime Movie – Friday, August 28th, 8pm, OakLeaf Village Athletic Center

Back by Popular Demand….Camp OakLeaf!! Bring your sleeping bags and tents to an overnight camping experience right here on our very own camp grounds (the soccer fields). We’ll be enjoying Cheeseburgers & Fries with all the fixins’, sack races, a bonfire, s’ mores and a private showing of the movie “RV” (Rated PG). A Chick-fil-a breakfast will be served in the morning with juice and coffee. The festivities get underway on Friday, the 25th, with the official tent pitching time from 5p.m. to 6p.m. The cost is $6 per adult and $3 per child ages 3 and over. PHIT Life Boot Camp – On-going Event

Oakleaf Anyway You Can 5K, Run, Walk, Wheeled Race!

Any Way you Can 5k – Saturday, May 9th, 2009 OakLeaf Village Athletic Center
OakLeaf’s 3rd Annual Any Way You Can 5k will bring families together to compete in a family fitness experience. The race will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Oakleaf Village Athletic Center and will be organized by 1st Place Sports, the First Coast’s foremost race promoter and director.
The race will feature three divisions, including running, walking and wheeled. The wheeled division is what sets our race apart from the typical 5k. The wheeled division allows participants and/or families to ride bikes, rollerblade, skateboard or use any other method of transportation (no motors).
Most 5k races are running or walking exclusively and do not allow jogging strollers or wheels of any type. Our race is “ANY WAY YOU CAN,”So children will be able to compete with their parents as a family. At the same time, competitive runners will still have the opportunity to race to win or set a personal record. Sign up at either Athletic Clubhouse or www.1stplacesports.com. The Oakleaf Village Center is Coming to Life!

Let there be life! Yes it is true the Oakleaf Village center is finally coming to life. For the last few years many Oakleaf residents have driven past the half constructed houses near the Oakleaf Village Center and wondered, “what is going on with this place?” After the long wait, the houses are now being taken over by a local builder. The houses will be finished off to the original style and even better quality that what was planned way back in 2006. And the cost?… This is great news for the people who would like to buy in this neighborhood, now the houses are essentially half price! Some of the houses in there were priced well into the $400,000′s and today the new builder will be selling the houses ranging from the $170′s to the low $300′s depending on the size and features.

The current 6 houses in the Village Oaks subdivision, which is the single family neighborhood in the Village Center, are loaded with many upgrades and features.
